I bake home made bread sometimes, and my favorite is cheese bread!

Lot's of fruits!

We try to eat lots of veggie but also want to eat fruits!

They're tasty, healthy!

Japanese popular menu; chicken Karaage.

Japanese popular menu; chicken Karaage, which is kind of Japanese fried chicken.

Typically we do marination chicken with ginger and soy sauce and sprinkle flower and fry it.

I love karaage!!

Mexican Tacitus!

I ordered Tacitus when my hubby and I were in the U.S.
Lot's of veggies and I liked the crispy Tacitus.
I won't eat the sour cream though. (I always leave it)
Not too much cheese, not too much meat. Mexican is still healthy!

Thin sliced celery salad

To be honest, I don't like celery a lot. So when I eat celery, I cut / slice it as thin as I can, also other vegetable (cucumber, onion, paprika etc) too.

French toast with hunny and home made hush brown

My husband and I love hush brown, but it's kind of hard to get it in Japan. So I had to make hush brown by myself. At first, cut some potato into thin strips, and then put them in a pan with 2-3 table spoon of olive oil. Enough oil makes them nicely crispy!

The french toast is easy as well, mix egg, sugar, cinnamon powder, and a little heavy cream, dip bread and fly them with butter.

These fresh sprouts are home made too! I do gardening at our small tiny balcony.

Potato salad sandwich

I made this sandwiches long time ago. I have my blog (Japanese) and I think I post this sandwiches as well, but I'll pick up some veggie menu from my Japanese blog for a while.

The potato salad is very simple to cook; boiled potato, cucumber, onion, and mayo. Roughly mixed them, then sand with lettuce, sliced ham.

I think it's a little bit too many carbohydrate, so I won't cook this often. But definitely healthier than a cheese burger!!

A little about me...

Hi. I'm Kia, Japanese, married with American hubby Timo.  I'm trying to eat healthy food, do a little bit workout, enjoy our lives.

Since we live in Japan, I can get a lot of healthy Japanese food everyday. I'm going to post my healthy menu on my blog :D
